BT publishes a guaranteed minimum speed for every package. If your line is below it, you're entitled to an investigation, and a way out of your contract if BT can't fix it. We'll measure your line, compare it to what BT promised, and tell you what to do next.
Known issue with BT: BT applies traffic management on Halo packages during peak evening hours. If your speed drops noticeably between 7-11pm but is fine at midnight, that's likely the cause, call BT and ask if traffic shaping is on your line.
