The short version: we rank on what a deal actually costs you, not on what it pays us. Here is exactly what is behind every number on this site.
Three sources sit behind every page on FindBroadband:
By default, deals are ordered by overall value: what the deal really costs you over its term, not just the headline monthly price. If you would rather keep it simple, switch to Cheapest to sort by the introductory monthly price alone.
Whatever the order, every deal shows its contract length, introductory monthly price, and, where the provider discloses it, any mid-contract price-rise rule, so you can always compare like for like. Crucially, the order reflects value to you, never what a deal pays us.
Every deal click goes through an affiliate tracking link to the provider's own site. If you sign up after clicking, the provider pays us a referral commission. That is how the site stays free to use.
Commission never changes what we show you or the order it appears in. Editors and the ranking do not adjust results based on what a deal pays. On the rare occasion a deal sits above its natural position, we label it as sponsored.
If a deal price or area stat looks off, tell us. We re-check our data daily and will fix any value that has drifted.
