speed test
A Cuckoo broadband speed test shows whether you get the speed you pay for. Cuckoo hasn't signed Ofcom's speed code, so compare a wired result with your package speed and report any shortfall to Cuckoo.

Questions
Cuckoo speed questions
Why is my Cuckoo broadband slow?
Run the test on a laptop plugged into the router with a cable. Over wifi you'll often see less than the line is giving you. If the wired result is fine, the line is doing its job and the slowdown is in your home: the router's position, other devices or an old wifi standard. If the wired result is low too, switch the router off at the wall for 30 seconds, test again, then report it.
What can I do if Cuckoo can't fix my speed?
Cuckoo hasn't signed Ofcom's voluntary broadband speed code, so there's no set 30-day right to leave over slow speeds. Report it to Cuckoo first. If it isn't sorted after six weeks, you can take it to the free dispute scheme Cuckoo belongs to. Cuckoo sells over CityFibre and Openreach, depending on the address. Who sends an engineer depends on which network reaches your home, and Cuckoo books them either way.
