Test your Ogi connection

Ogi broadband
speed test

An Ogi broadband speed test shows whether you get the speed you pay for: Ogi sells 3 speeds, from 150 Mbps to 900 Mbps, checked 29 October 2026. Ogi hasn't signed Ofcom's speed code, so compare a wired result with your package speed and report any shortfall to Ogi.

For Ogi customers. We’ll measure your line, then check it against the Ogi packages that are actually available at your address.

How we measure: The test runs in your browser against the nearest UK edge. How we diagnose: we join your result to the line + deal data we hold for your address.

What speed should your Ogi line show?

Ogi sells 3 speeds today, from 150 Mbps to 900 Mbps, all of them full fibre, so the fibre runs all the way into your home.

"Over 2 years" is the average monthly cost across 24 months once any intro offer ends and the rises written into the contract apply. From Ogi's live deals, updated every day.

Getting a fair result

Run the test on a laptop plugged into the router with a cable. Over wifi you'll often see less than the line is giving you.

Every Ogi package goes up £3 a month in April 2027 and again in April 2028, so the starting price isn't what you'll pay for the whole contract.

If it’s still slow

Ogi hasn't signed Ofcom's voluntary broadband speed code, so there's no set 30-day right to leave over slow speeds. Report it to Ogi first. If it isn't sorted after six weeks, you can take it to the free dispute scheme Ogi belongs to.

Ogi runs its own network, so a fault on the line is Ogi's own to fix. Source

Questions

Ogi speed questions

What speed should I get on Ogi?

Ogi sells 3 speeds today, from 150 Mbps to 900 Mbps, all of them full fibre, so the fibre runs all the way into your home. Check which package you're on, then compare it with a wired test. The table on this page shows the speed each package is sold at.

Why is my Ogi broadband slow?

Run the test on a laptop plugged into the router with a cable. Over wifi you'll often see less than the line is giving you. If the wired result is fine, the line is doing its job and the slowdown is in your home: the router's position, other devices or an old wifi standard. If the wired result is low too, switch the router off at the wall for 30 seconds, test again, then report it.

What can I do if Ogi can't fix my speed?

Ogi hasn't signed Ofcom's voluntary broadband speed code, so there's no set 30-day right to leave over slow speeds. Report it to Ogi first. If it isn't sorted after six weeks, you can take it to the free dispute scheme Ogi belongs to. Ogi runs its own network, so a fault on the line is Ogi's own to fix.

Will my Ogi price go up?

Every Ogi package goes up £3 a month in April 2027 and again in April 2028, so the starting price isn't what you'll pay for the whole contract.
