Test your Quickline connection

Quickline broadband
speed test

A Quickline broadband speed test shows whether you get the speed you pay for: Quickline sells 3 speeds, from 200 Mbps to 1 Gbps, checked 28 October 2026. Quickline hasn't signed Ofcom's speed code, so compare a wired result with your package speed and report any shortfall to Quickline.

Getting a fair result

Run the test on a laptop plugged into the router with a cable. Over wifi you'll often see less than the line is giving you.

None of Quickline's 4 deals has a price rise written into the contract.

If it’s still slow

Quickline hasn't signed Ofcom's voluntary broadband speed code, so there's no set 30-day right to leave over slow speeds. Report it to Quickline first. If it isn't sorted after six weeks, you can take it to the free dispute scheme Quickline belongs to.

Quickline runs its own network, so a fault on the line is Quickline's own to fix. Source

Questions

Quickline speed questions

What speed should I get on Quickline?

Quickline sells 3 speeds today, from 200 Mbps to 1 Gbps, all of them full fibre, so the fibre runs all the way into your home. Check which package you're on, then compare it with a wired test. The table on this page shows the speed each package is sold at.

Why is my Quickline broadband slow?

Run the test on a laptop plugged into the router with a cable. Over wifi you'll often see less than the line is giving you. If the wired result is fine, the line is doing its job and the slowdown is in your home: the router's position, other devices or an old wifi standard. If the wired result is low too, switch the router off at the wall for 30 seconds, test again, then report it.

What can I do if Quickline can't fix my speed?

Quickline hasn't signed Ofcom's voluntary broadband speed code, so there's no set 30-day right to leave over slow speeds. Report it to Quickline first. If it isn't sorted after six weeks, you can take it to the free dispute scheme Quickline belongs to. Quickline runs its own network, so a fault on the line is Quickline's own to fix.
