Sky's broadband runs over the same Openreach copper / fibre network that BT, TalkTalk and most other ISPs use, so when something goes wrong it's almost always a line fault, not a Sky-specific problem. We'll measure your line and tell you what's actually happening.

Known issue with Sky: Sky's FTTC packages are particularly sensitive to the copper distance from your cabinet, rural and edge-of-town addresses often see speeds 30-50% below the headline. If you're paying for Sky Superfast 2 but getting under 50 Mbps and you're on copper, check if FTTP is available at your address.

How we measure: The test runs in your browser against the nearest UK edge. How we diagnose: we join your result to the line + deal data we hold for your address.
