Are you actually getting Airband speeds?

Airband broadband
speed test

An Airband broadband speed test shows whether you get the speed you pay for. Airband hasn't signed Ofcom's speed code, so compare a wired result with your package speed and report any shortfall to Airband.

Runs in your browser · no data leaves your device

Airband runs FTTP across rural England and Wales. We'll measure your line and grade the result.

How we measure: The test runs in your browser against the nearest UK edge. How we diagnose: we join your result to the line + deal data we hold for your address.

Questions

Airband speed questions

Why is my Airband broadband slow?

Run the test on a laptop plugged into the router with a cable. Over wifi you'll often see less than the line is giving you. If the wired result is fine, the line is doing its job and the slowdown is in your home: the router's position, other devices or an old wifi standard. If the wired result is low too, switch the router off at the wall for 30 seconds, test again, then report it.

What can I do if Airband can't fix my speed?

Airband hasn't signed Ofcom's voluntary broadband speed code, so there's no set 30-day right to leave over slow speeds. Report it to Airband first. If it isn't sorted after six weeks, you can take it to the free dispute scheme Airband belongs to. Airband runs its own network, so a fault on the line is Airband's own to fix.
